Scope

This policy applies to the iOS, Android, and web versions of MrBarberos.

What we collect

We only collect the following contact information:

• Name
• Email
• Phone number

We do not collect device identifiers (including device IDs), IP addresses, precise location, crash logs, diagnostics, or usage analytics.

Why we collect it

• Create and authenticate your account
• Provide booking features and core app functionality
• Offer customer support and send service messages
• Protect the security of your account and the service

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, cross‑app tracking, or selling.

Sources

• Information you provide during sign‑up or while using the service
• Sign‑in with Google for authentication and account creation
• Phone number you provide for your account and notifications

Push notifications

We send push notifications for functional reasons such as bookings, reminders, and account messages. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

Third‑party processors

We use the following service providers to operate the product:

• Firebase Authentication for login
• Cloud Firestore for database
• Firebase Storage for file uploads
• Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
• Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics are present in the stack but configured not to collect crash logs, diagnostics, or usage analytics for individual users

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service. They do not have permission to use your data for their own marketing.

Data sharing

We do not sell data or share data with third parties for advertising. Data is only shared with the processors listed above to operate the service, or when required by law.

Retention

We retain personal data for up to 24 months, or less if you ask us to delete it earlier, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes.

Security

We use Firebase’s security features, including:

• Encryption in transit using TLS
• Encryption at rest provided by the platform
• Access controls limited to authorized personnel for operation and support

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards consistent with industry practice.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

Children

The service is not intended for children under the age required by local law for independent online consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes, we will update this page and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
